Husband - Travis Alex

I am so happy to have my friends and family by my side through this wonderful experience. My best friend and husband Travis and I have been together for 20 years (yes we are high school sweet hearts), and we have a beautiful 12 year old daughter that we are so blessed to have. We own a small business together and my husband works there 6 days a week! I have such a great career that I truly love and enjoy. Working directly with people and making them feel better about themselves though cosmetic dentistry is such a wonderful feeling. I help people that are used to talking with a hand in front of their mouth or never smiling and laughing, turn into a completely different person with such confidence and life...it transforms them, that is what I look forward to everyday at work. Making people smile ~I thank god everyday for the opportunities I have been given, and for the good choices that I have made. I could not have come this far with out my mom and dad that raised me to be the woman I am today, and the mom that I hope my daughter will look up to and strive to be like. This opportunity is to show my daughter and all the other young girls and women that you can be a smart, successful, and beautiful woman all in one package.

As I have entered into this endeavor, I have looked long and hard at the issues we have in the world today and I can see an issue that starts close to home and right here in America . I have chosen the platform of “No child hungry in America ”. Too many people today are suffering in this economy, many of those are the children that do not have any options and are at the mercy of their parents. I want to help and make sure that these children have help available and have the opportunity to be fed and to grow and be strong. These kids are our future, we need to feed our future so it can thrive!
